I tool down the jib in preparation to have it picked up by Mack Sails to have the sun panel restitched.  Tomorrow I'll take down the main so they can take it and repair a tear in a batten pocket.

I laid down some rough-cut plywood peices on the cockpit floor to distribute loads across a wider area.  We are bracing for a big project.  Once we get both sails folded and off to Mack, I will start tapping and getting a sense of how big.  Then we'll need to decide about recoring or just building up the top skin.

Audrey was finger knitting up a storm today!

I cut 4 1.5x1.5 pieces to use as cleats in strengthening the companionway engine box.

I also had a visit from Cap'n Roger of stringer fame to discuss some deck issues.  Looks like I'm going to learn a thing or two about fiberglass...

I encored my fix to the fo'c'sle door with an identically-executed fix to their hanging locker door.  Gorilla glue, FTW!

We spent 3 hours today sailing in small circles with Cap'n Jack.  We're just cool like that.

We're getting a dinghy next week!

We're going out for another lesson with Jack today.

I have a head repair kit coming with all new seals and gaskets for the Raritan.  That'll be fun.
